[ She nods as she follows after him (though she'd been the one to suggest leaving, go figure). The hospital isn't big enough for two mad doctors, which is saying something, because it's pretty stupid-massive. ]

Well, I think we should be on guard... but don't worry. I won't let you get captured again.

[ Nurse turned reporter turned doctor turned bodyguard... hm. ViViD sure is interesting. ]

[ Wow, he can't be letting her do all the work here, though! And he doesn't want to be putting her in harm's way again. Letting her get hurt for his sake is definitely not okay. But he appreciates her help all the same. ]

Thanks. Two of us would definitely be better than one.

[ Less of a chance of getting overpowered again like that. If only he could find his sword ... ]

[ She definitely agrees! Competitive as she is, it's so easy to get behind the idea of being part of a team; and it's always exciting when she has no idea about the other person. No idea how they fight, or if they mesh well at all--finding it out on the fly.

She looks him over, smiling in return. ]

Sorey! Nice to meet you.

...But I guess we should've snagged you a weapon before we left, huh? [ ...Thoughtfully, she glances over her shoulder. With the opportunity missed though, she thinks it's a bad idea to turn back. ]

Do you fight?

[ Aah, that's right, he doesn't have a weapon at the moment. Maybe having one earlier could've made it easier to not get caught, but ... At the same time, he wouldn't want anything too dangerous to be using against people. And most of what he's seen around here has looked dangerous. All these sharp objects ... ]

Yeah, I can fight. [ A pause. ] But it's alright. If it's the two of us, then I'm sure we can take them, even if I don't have a weapon on me.

[ He has confidence in the two of them, anyway. And hopefully they won't run into any more situations like the previous one. ]

[ Hopefully nothing like that doctor, no, but she's certain there will be obstacles. Nevertheless, confidence (even when it isn't warranted) is where she shines (except when she doesn't!). ...So it's easy to believe him. ]

My friend Jude manages alright with his fists, so I'm sure you could give it a try, too.

[ Turning back seems to be inadvisable. ]

What are you used to?

[ Sorey is rather well-built, so he certainly has enough upper body strength to try fighting with his fists, even if he isn't used to it. He won't complain, anyway — he'll do what he must!

Nodding. ] I think I'll be fine like this for now. But I normally use a sword to fight.

Swords sure come in a lot of different styles. She could ask about which one Sorey uses, but rather than dwell on something that isn't there, she'll look forward. She'll find out given time, after all--she's sure of it. Cheerily: ]
