Okay...

[ Even if she isn't the boss, Leia believes it... so she won't worry about it for now. She'll scurry to the counter when she puts down everything, and she'll pull out a couple bottles of orange juice first. ]

Well, I brought everything just like I promised. [ Faintly, she smiles as she sets them out. Then she pulls out one of the two packages with the sliced oranges. ]

I hope they taste alright. I'm sorry I didn't get to slice them myself.

[ In hindsight, maybe she should have... ]

Do you like oranges? Maybe we can eat them together.

S-Sure, if that's what you want! There's plenty, since I wasn't exactly sure how much you wanted...

[ She pulls another package out of the bag, and then the other two bottles of juice as well, emptying everything. ]

I should probably put some of this in the fridge to keep it cold.

I can probably share some oranges with Taka, too... [ the hawk isn't here, though. ] Do you know Taka?

And I love oranges! Just give me as much as you can, I'll eat them all!

[journaler]

[ Leia laughs. ]

They're all for you, then! And of course. I've definitely met Taka. [ She assumes she would have seen the hawk by now if he were here, yes. ] You can save some for him if you want.

[ ... ]

Oh--Simon, too. [ Can't forget... ]

Hmm... I'll have to ask what kind of fruits he likes.

[ This is a real puzzle for her, and she even looks perplexed as she thinks. ]

[ While she thinks, Leia decides to deal with the clutter and puts some things away as neatly as she can in the fridge nearby. She keeps one package of the orange slices for them to share (though she plans on letting Athena have most, if not all of them) and two bottles of orange juice for them--one each.

She'll carry it all and leads them towards the couch, in front of which sits a coffee table. ]

Come on. You should sit back down.

[psycholawgy]

[ Ah, yes! Leia came over to heal her, didn't she? Athena does what she's told, sitting all prim and proper. ]

Okay, so... how do we do the healing magic thing? I've forgotten what Natalia did to me.

[journaler]

[ She places all of the yummy goodies down, and her face lights up at the mention. Her heart kind of sinks at the mention of Natalia, since she knows she hasn't been around in a while now; but then because of that it's all the more important that she steps up to the plate. ]

Oh, yeah. I can do it, too.

[ She smiles faintly. ]

...Ready?

[psycholawgy]

Do I need to do anything? [ she asks nervously. She even sits up stiffly, just in case. She's so nervous! ]

[journaler]

[ Leia shakes her head reassuringly! ]

Nope! Just leave it to me.

[ In the next moment, she closes her eyes, breathing a sigh to calm herself before she chants the words. They're different from Natalia's, if Athena's the type to notice that kind of thing.

She will definitely notice that her wounds start to glow, and the pain should start to diminish. ]

Gather forth the light... Heal.

[ Sadly, it isn't a cure for anything that's broken... Not even her strongest heal spell could fix something like that. But Leia opens her eyes, hoping that it helps nonetheless. ]

[psycholawgy]

[ She does feel better, and Athena stretches both her arms and her legs. ]

I feel a lot better! [ There's still a hint of pain, but it's easily ignored. ] Thank you, thank you!

[ JUMPING ON HER TO HUG HER TBH sorry... ]

[ Oof--

Leia tilts sideways and feels like she's sinking into the couch! She laughs, though. Other than a hint of blush on her cheeks, she doesn't seem to mind, and doesn't make any attempt to push her away.

Quite oppositely, she reciprocates. ]

H-Hey, you still need to be careful. Our artes are pretty powerful, but they still can't do it all.

[psycholawgy]

I'll take care of myself even better now, thank you so much.

[ She pulls away, and helps Leia up in case she did call further into the couch. ]

Good.

[ She seems satisfied with this answer as she sits up and straightens herself again. She breathes a sigh, relieved that she was at least able to help a bit; and in the silence, she busies herself with opening the wrapping to the orange slices. ]

Here you go. You get the first bite.

[ Curse you, Leia, getting to the oranges first!!!! But she takes a slice, and then bites. She makes a face upon biting, but quickly shoves the whole slice in her mouth. (We can pretend they're seedless...) ]

Ah, they're so sweet!

[journaler]

[ They are totally seedless. It sounds like she approves, though! Leia puts the whole thing down between them so they can both grab at their leisure... and she'll steal a tiny slice for herself, despite her intentions.

Well, Athena did say she wanted to eat them together. ]

That's good, right?

[psycholawgy]

Totally!

Okay, okay, you go eat, too.

[ A beat. ] What's good with oranges? Should I get some bread or something?

[journaler]

[ ...... There's a dramatic pause. She seems deep in thought, considering this very Seriously. ]

...Ice cream.

[ Leia no. ]

[psycholawgy]

[ Ah, she frowns, letting out a groan. ]

Aw man! We don't have ice cream...

[journaler]

[ Oh. ]

Awww, that's okay! Bread would be fine, too. Maybe we could toast it and then add some whipped cream?

[psycholawgy]

Okay, those are two things we- [ . . . Simon doesn't have whipped creme. ] Err, you know, I think all we have is bread.

And sugar. And tea.

Simon's pretty boring.

[ Simon...

Leia has to laugh, though. Athena may be the "host," but Leia was the one who invited herself over. ]

Awww. I'd offer to make another store run, but I'd hate to leave you here.

Let's just make do with what we've got, and maybe we can put on a movie or something.

[psycholawgy]

There are definitely movies! I made sure to bring the DVDs from my place. [ she beams a bright grin, totally proud of this achievement. ] Have you ever seen the movie about the old man whose house can fly because of the balloons attached to it?

[journaler]

[ She gasps with recognition. ]

Ohh, is that the one with the dog who can talk, too? I think I saw it at the store, but I haven't picked it up yet. It looked so cute!

[ And so many colorful balloons... it really made for good posters and cover material. ]

Wasn't it "Up"?
